Planermill Supervision – Hampton Lumber

Hampton Lumber is looking to hire a Planermill Supervision to be a leader on their shift of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and enforce all safety policies and safe work practices

• Manage shift production to achieve throughput and recovery targets

• Ensure lumber meets grade standards and finished packages meet specifications

• Coach, train, and develop operators and support staff

• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime

• Drive continuous improvement and maintain strong operational discipline

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or sawmill experience

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong safety-first mindset

• Ability to lead in a fast-paced production environment

• Solid problem-solving and communication skills

• Startup experience and lean manufacturing knowledge preferred

• Lumber grading certification a plus
