The Allendale County Historical Society was founded in 2005. The organization, with the help of members and volunteers in the county and surrounding communities, is dedicated to preserving all things that make Allendale so special. A group of 8 residents serve on the Board and are dedicated to preserving places, stories, and culture that are unique to Allendale.
