Accountant

A GREAT opportunity available for a FT Accountant. Responsible for applying the principles of accounting to analyze financial information, distribute expenditures and receipts, maintain records, compile data, and prepare financial reports related to the Southeastern Housing and Community Development program. This individual will also work directly with management to identify, integrate, and develop financial and other systems or processes to meet the ever-changing needs of the Authority. Graduation from an accredited 2 or 4 year College with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with accounting emphasis or similar field is required. Prior work experience in accounting or finance is desired. Working knowledge or experience in housing operations a plus. Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator

SC Regional Housing Authority No. 3 has a great opportunity available for a Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) Coordinator who will be responsible for assuring that FSS program participants are linked to various supportive services needed to achieve self- sufficiency.  The FSS Coordinator will help participants set, pursue, and accomplish personal and family self-sufficiency goals, including obtaining and/or advancing in employment, education pursuits, job training, and other goals that will allow them to become independent of public  assistance.   This individual will function as a mentor, networker, motivator, teacher, and coach with a commitment to make a difference in the lives of our participates. Minimum Qualifications: An Associate’s Degree in either psychology, sociology, social services, human services, education, or related field from an accredited college or university or a minimum or a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in (administrative) economic self-sufficiency services working with low-income families and diverse populations. Maintenance Technician

SC Regional Housing Authority No. 3 has a great opportunity available for a full-time maintenance technician. The ideal candidate will work in our Wagener, Salley and Williston, SC,  locations.  Must have prior experience in general maintenance. Performs minor electrical repairs on items, such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets and circuits. Performs minor plumbing work, such as toilet and sink repairs, replacing fittings, etc. Assists in replacing broken glass, tile carpet, screens, fixtures, appliances, and locks. Assist in painting interior and exterior. Performs carpentry work such as, installing doors, repairing windows, replacing and building shelves and all other basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. Working knowledge of HVAC systems to assist in maintenance, repairs and/or replacement is preferred.  Work schedule is Mon-Thurs. 10-hour shifts, 3-day weekend!!!

Salary: $15.50 – $18.00 per hour

Property Manager: Hardeeville/Fairfax Locations

SC Regional Housing Authority #3 has an opportunity available for a FT Property Manager for the Hardeeville and Fairfax, SC locations. Duties include, but limited to, overseeing property maintenance to ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner. Conducts regular inspections of the property to identify any issues or areas that require attention. Handles tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally. Manages lease agreements, including renewals, terminations, and rent collection. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, renovations, and other property-related projects as directed. Utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Maintains accurate records and files related to property management activities. Performs data entry tasks to update tenant information, lease agreements, and financial records , and assures all phases of the property operate efficiently and in accordance with HUD regulations. An associate’s degree is preferred or one or more years experience in property management. Must have a Property Management Certification or pursue certification within 6 months of hire. Must have a general knowledge of computers and the ability to process and maintain confidential information. The ideal candidate must be dependable, a self-starter and a great communicator with a passion to help others succeed. 4, 10-hour workweek and 3-day weekend!!
